  6. Yeah, I feel fairly safe at an "official" 160. I want 159 though. Then mine will be saying 157 or
so, which is in the range I want to be in - between 155 and 159 on mine.

  7. That's what I would like, too - on my nice, pretty accurate, Tanita -
    155. We shall see since I really am not pushing the envelope (so how much do I really want it???).
Maybe really back to regular Journaling will be the only way. Do I want it? Do I want it? Do
    I want it?

  8. LOL!! Sorry to laugh Lesanne, but for some goofy reason I am seeing humor in this. Has my *ish*
rubbed off on you? I thought I would be satisfied when I reached 150, then 140 ... then 135. I'm now
pushing the 130 mark (saw it a few times this week, but the average isn't quite there yet). It's now
almost like I just want to see that 12something pop onto the scale ... don't know why, just because.

I said something to that effect to a friend of mine today, she said I was nuts - don't lose any
more. It's beginning to be a comfort thing with me. The larger zone that I have, the safer I feel. I
still feel like I'm hanging on by the skin of my teeth. (maybe all the stress I've been under
    lately???)

  12. Is 160 your own personal goal or what WW says that you should weigh based on your height? Have you
also checked your weight at this site: halls.mdbody.htm Maybe your goal of
160 is too high and that is what is causing you difficulities. The other possilibty is that 160 is
the right weight for you but your "mind" has not adjusted to the new you. Maybe you need to give
yourself some time to get used to this weight. Like you said, wait until January and then see how
you feel about being at 160.

  13. I guess I think I should con-solid-ate being solidly under goal. I think part of what is driving
this nonsense, altho, seriously, is being able to wear whatever and not have to worry about what it
might weigh and do to my goal weight. The difference can be affected by just wearing shoes or heavy
    jeans. Nuts, huh? (G)

  16. We are all a bit nuts - so join the crowd. And I have to guess that after years of being "out of
condition" that it takes a long time to be mentally comfortable at normal weight. And to be
uncomfortable at every shift upward even if slight. Body image is definitely part of it - I
still am amused and sometimes shocked that I have no stomach. It has been 5 months or more and
    it still is NEW.

I guess I think I should con-solid-ate being solidly under goal. I think part of what is driving
this nonsense, altho, seriously, is being able to wear whatever and not have to worry about what
it might weigh and do to my goal weight. The difference can be affected by just wearing shoes or
    heavy jeans. Nuts, huh? (G)

  17. Great NSV Fred. I would love to not have a stomach, but that'll never happen. Even when I weighed
130 lbs (20+ years ago), I still had a little one, can never remember myself without one. I would
probably have made a good belly dancer!

It has been 5 months or more and
    it still is NEW.

no, in your case not at all nuts. I think you are doing great. I think all this thinking I am
doing about this has to do with my situation here, and will settle down when I get used to being
at goal. I hope. Truly it shouldn't be that complicated. (I have long since accepted that I am a

Went hiking today and it went pretty well - much better than when the stomach blocked the view of
the trail! (G) But seriously, I occasionally glance down and am still fascinated, amazed, pleased by
the low profile down there (no one go any further with this image!!!!)
