The way I see it, you have 3 choices. #1 ... stay where you are now. #2 ... revert to old habits and
return to where you have worked so hard to get away from.
#3 ... get back into the swing of things and reach for the gold. You say you are
not happy to spend the rest of your life at your current size ... so choice number 1 is not an
option. I will assume that since you don't want to stay where you are, then you also don't want to
return to where you started - thus making choice number 2 unacceptable. That leaves you with choice
number 3 - head back into the game, butt back in gear. There aren't any other options available.
Now get on the ball here, girl - find that switch! Your original reasons for losing weight no longer
hold, so find new reasons. Make a list, post it where you will see it daily. Why do you want to lose
more? Health? Appearance? What do you want to be able to do that you still are uncomfortable with?
Wearing a bathing suit? A snazzy new belt? Wonderful slinky current fashions? Whatever! Doesn't
matter how trivial they may seem, whatever will push your buttons. For me it was something as silly
as wanting to be able to play on the floor with my grandson ... and be able to get back up!
If you find you have difficulty staying out of the cupboards when not hungry, then consider putting
child locks on them. It might be enough to at least make you think when you have to open them. I
found that sometimes just that little extra second it took to get to something (unburying things to
get to them) was just what I needed for reality to kick in and make me close the cupboard or fridge.
I had to think WHY was I in there, WHY was I digging ...was I hungry or just bored. Food does not
solve boredom, only keeps me running back for more. Do you really want heaps of things in your house
to snack on through the holidays? Remember, even if they are point friendly, those 1 and 2 points
WILL add up over the course of a day/week/month. Maybe you need to stock with just a few favorites,
or heavy on fruit and veggies and forget about those sweets ... at least until your feet are firmly
back on the ground. C'mon Erin, I know you can do it - look how fantastic you have done already! I'm
pulling for you dear.
Consider yourself <gently> kicked!

I can't seem to get or keep myself on track. Every day I tell myself I'm going to stick to points
etc, but every day I end up blowing it. I can't find my switch!
I think part of my problem is that because I look so much better than I did when I started that my
motivation has dropped off. The reasons I started don't really hold anymore. I'm not happy to spend
the rest of my life at this weight/size but it doesn't seem to be enough to keep me going. I was
thinking last night that I miss Tony, he would have given me a good kick up the backside and who
knows, it might have helped.
Strangely enough, I'm hoping that the Christmas season might actually help me. I'll have heaps of
things in the house to snack on and lots to do to keep me out of the cupboards when I'm not hungry.
I still need some gentle but firm kicks I think ;-)
Thanks for being here you guys, it helps.
