Love it but I'm thinking I probably shouldn't watch it just before
heading out on my commute. That clip should really get the anti-red
light/cyclists as ambassadors brigade up in arms (ducks and runs for cover).

Hah! watched it? Baby, I've lived it!

in NY in Feb one of the people i caught up with is an old mate from Melb who moved to NY and kept up his career as a courier. Im not sure if he's in that vid but he dos that race all the time. I followed him on the evening we met up and whilst it was scary as all [censored], it was NOTHING like that video!
That looks like a much busier part of (mid) town and there was no snow as my ride was so everyone was driving (relatively) slow. I also think Greg was lookin after me as i was ridin his 'sooky' (ie his emergency bike which was a fixie pushin 90"!!! and brakes. hence the name). He dont ride brakes on his regualr bike and only about half the couriers do over there!!!
Mind you, most of em look like ex-linebackers and scary as all get-out.
Boy can they drink tho. and 'real' beer too 😄
and they lerv doin them tricks. It was real cold when i was there so i didnt hag round with them after too long but they were a real tight community.
Were all takin about one of them doored that day and how they had all apperaed to help and bail up the driver and get him booked. Wierdly the couriers seem to get looked after by the cops in manhattan. unlike the CM'ers 🙄
