Hey from England!
OK, first off - you guys may get a lot of this - and if so I apologise
in advance.
I'll be running NYC this year, after being accepted with a charity
placement.
This will be my first marathon experience, although I have been
training well.
Anyway, the upshot is - I'm in New York from the 2nd - 9th November (my
first visit and I'm mad excited!) BUT - I don't yet have a place to
stay.
Now I'm no "freeloader" - I simply got hit with a few unexpected things
this month, and now I don't have hundreds of dollars to spend on a
hotel room.
I'm genuinely scared that I'll be sleeping in Central Park!!
As a precautionary measure, I'm going to book a dorm bed in a HI hostel
when I get paid (not till 1st November!); so at least I'll have a roof
over my head.
But I'm really hoping that some kindhearted likeminded soul will step
forward and help me out here. I'll pay board, and even contribute to
housework and stuff - whatever it takes!
Or perhaps someone has a twin hotel room with a spare bed - we could
maybe split the costs of the room or something.
I'm 23, male, British, a care worker for adults with developmental
difficulties. I've got my head screwed on and won't cause you any
trouble - so PLEASE help me out if you can.
I really appreciate you taking the time to read this message.
Kind regards,
Carl. EMAIL ME ON: [email hidden] Thanks again.
