Nutella

Never tried it but a bunch of my soccer buddies rave about the taste all the time. They say I should try it since it's healthier than most things you can have for breakfast as spread.

yes, it's a hazelnut spread with skim milk and cocoa and it comes in a very bright chocolate taste, very smooth. i paid about $3.50 for the 13 ounce jar.

btw, nutella and the taco bell mexican pizza don't work so well together either.

In the interests of saving your tastebuds from further insults, can I just say that Nutella with anything savoury doesn't work too well?

😄 i found the holy grail of all things nutella; peanut butter on one slice of bread, blueberry jelly on another slice and nutella on a third slice. triple layer goodness!

See, I don't get this peanut butter and jelly thing (jam for our non-American readers) but then, I like my PB with Jarlsberg cheese and lettuce on rye sourdough.

Back to Nutella - have you tried warming it slightly to make it thinner and then having it on ice-cream?

i haven't but i sure will now, thanks! my mouth is watering and i'm thinking of putting it on my two hotdogs..🙂

pretty sure i could figure this out in seconds but thought that i'd make with the small chit chat so how long do i microwave the nutella for? and what flavor of ice ream would you suggest as a first?

Sorry, I was at work so didn't see this.

To answer your question ........... no idea, I don't own a microwave - I use the oldfashioned stove top method and stop when it reaches the consistency I want but it only takes a few seconds.

I recommend a good quality vanilla ice-cream.

Although I'm not sure I want to exchange messages with someone who puts Nutella on hot dogs.

Apparently National Nutella Day is this Friday. I'll need to go out and buy some by then and see if I like it.

i didn't put it on my hotdogs but for a split second i thought of it. tried the microwave and some chocolate ice cream last night, good stuff. vanilla tonight.

Nutella + Berry of choice + Dash of balsamic + mint leaves. Works for me😄

Apparently World Nutella Day is this Friday(February 5th). I guess I'll have to go out and buy some Nutella by then and give my verdict on whether I like it or not.

Too many flavours - lose the Nutella (sacrilege, I know) and you have a very nice dessert.

I'm glad you had didn't, but the mere fact that it crossed your mind is enough to give me second thoughts.

Nah I've done both. Both work. though non nutella is better.

well, i tried the warmed up nutella on french vanilla ice cream last night and it was so good i died but the nutella brought me back to life.

when i was in ITALY people would eat that stuff like it was goin outta style. i myself aint a big fan of chocolate, but it is tasty.
just not my choice for food.
