That is some glorious, gorgeous work. I especially like how the join between the seat stays and the seat tube came up. Utterly beautiful stuff.
They're not too bad, because they're all short. But I know Suzy isn't afraid to take bikes to different locations, with somewhat longer hills. Bobbin Head at the end of a long ride can be nice to have a triple.
Dave - who wasn't going below the 39 ring the other day out of there, even if I was towing trailer + two kids; A 30-11 cluster is useful.

I'm about to make my own wheel truing stand, and before I design such a (simple!) beastie, do you have any plans for one? I was going to do a rough copy of a Minoura stand, not the Park ones, the elcheapo park stand is a pain to use and the more expensive ones are too complex.
Pah! Sydney hills are wimpy. Most of them are doable on the fixed wheel.

I used to deride triples, but a couple of hills between Lithgow and Tarana, on a ride out to Cowra at Easter with panniers made me see the error of my ways.
Climbing ~15% hills with panniers is no fun in the 39, even if you do have a 28 at the back.
