I know this issue has been raised a number of time in the past (a LARGE
number)...but i think my situation may be a little differnt.
I just recently fitted my mtb with a set of slicks and a computer and
began riding the roads for fitness. my rides are 10-20 miles at a
cadance of 85-90 on almost exclusively flat terrain. Each of the 4
rides i have gone on to date have treated me to mild numbness on the
outside half of my right foot. i have noticed that when i pedal, i
seem to put more preasure on this outside of that foot and less presure
on the ball-side of the foot (kinda like ankle supination - rolling out
- in running).
I currently use Power Straps instead of toe clips or clipless pedals.
will moving to clipless make the numbness go away? if so, what is a
good option for pedal/shoe combos that i can migrate to a road bike
(which i plan to get in the next 6 months if i stick with this cycling
thing...)
thanks for the help
