  1. Does anyone have any recommendations for a great spot for dinner/drinks
in Novi? I am travelling there on business next week. Looking for
something that has a wide selection of good food and/or drinks OR a
small selection of great food. Might as well check out something other
than the usual chains. Especially since it won't be my dime.

    Thanks

Hmmm ... well, I don't think you'll find much in Novi, and the whole area
has turned into chain restaurant/store clone land. There is a really nice
little Italian place (not a red sauce joint) in Northville, I'll ask for the
    name
if you think you're interested. Not cheap.

If you say so, I'll try calling my sil for suggestions, they live in Novi
    and
    have a business in Northville.

  3. I live in Farmington Hills and it borders up to Novi. Offhand I am
unable to think of any restaurants in Novi aside from the chains.

If you can make it to Farmington Hills (take 12 Mile Road east) to 12
Mile + Farmington Road, the northeast corner, in the strip shopping
center, there is a wonderful Arab restaurant--Pineland. It doesn't look
like too much of anything from the outside, but the food is very, very
    good.

  4. If money is no object, there's Tribute, also in Farmington Hills, on 12
Mile just west of Orchard Lake.

People say it's fabulous, but oh so expensive.

  5. I think this is the one I was recommended by a fellow co-worker.

    Thanks

If you feel like chinese food (+other foods) try Kims Garden.
Novi road just north of Grand River.

Another suggestion. The local paper, Detroit Free Press
has a restaurant section, half way down, left side of the page.
Enter the area (Novi) and see what comes up.
