  1. since you all have been so supportive here it goes:

I am scared. I am scared that the boss wont think I am good. I am
scared that I will fail, or it will take too long to learn. I am
scared that I wil screw up!!. I am scared that maybe I made the wrong
decision and need something not so complicated. Now I need a book on
how to pick the right job!!!

Based on the potential you've shown here, the perfect job for you would be
    bagging groceries.

  3. You are a loser!! A fat ugly sloth!! I saw a picture of you and boy
did I laugh!!! ANd your insulting me!!!!!!

  4. and also why are you answering??? Please you have no room to insult,
have you ever once said anything positive. Well after the picture I
saw of you, I can see why you are so bitter.

There is no need to be afraid. What will happen will happen. Fear is the
mind killer, so I suggest you just let it go and try to do your best. You
said there is a trial period, so if things don't work out, you'll move on.

There is no point in worrying about things which are beyond your control.

  6. Usually people who go into new jobs with a little nervousness and a
willingness to learn do quite well. It's the know it alls that have
bigger problems, at least that's been my experience. Just follow
directions and do your best, and you'll be fine. Best to you.

PLEASE learn to quote when you post!

You post something like the above and depending on how old the
original message is or who we have killfiled, we have no idea who you
    are replying to.

  8. You are experiencing a perfectly normal reaction. Just grit your teeth and
    you will get past it.

    Oui, Cheri,

Here is little wisdom from one of the media psychologists, I think it was
Toni Grant but maybe it was Joyce Brothers, anyway it was one of the *nice*
ones. Fear and excitement have the same physical manifestations such as
elevated pulse rate and perspiration and a rather narrow mental focus. So,
if you feel scared, tell yourself instead that you're excited. Maybe it
    will work for you.

I think most of us have been where you are. If you don't feel competent,
you can act confident. People will treat you like you're confident and that
will help you feel competent. If you still feel like you're faking it after
a few months or a few years, then it could be time to consider a different
    gig.

    Max

  10. thank you all!!! Yeah, you know it's hard to evaluate what I want
here out of a position. It is like you never really know what a job is
until your in it. So how can one evaluate what is the right job. I
mean come on an interview does not tell you too much. It does tell you
who the jerks are or how crazy the boss is. I guess I have to just go,
learn , shut up and listen. I never had this fear before, I just went
in and learned and believe me I learned some hard stuff granted it did
me very little good in life but I learned it. Like my first five years
out of college, I did safety and OSHA laws for the trucking business.
Talk about hard to learn, but I never was scared. As you get older I
guess there is less bs you will put up with or maybe my confidence is
    shook.

Well thanks , I am going to give 100 percent.

    ANd your insulting me!!!!!!

You might be able to work your way up from bagging groceries if you could
just increase your proficiency in English. Do you think you're ever going to
    make that happen?

  12. You are such a miserable person. What are you jealous??? Very sick
steak in you. I think you deep down are a miserable person who gets
off insulting others to feel good about your pitful fat ugly self.
Keep going, you obviously love to alienate yourself. Your just so
terrific, perfect with no flaws, a joy to be around. People flock to
your house, enjoy your company and respect your opinion.

That is funny. When I noticed it, I thought it might be a partial Freudian
slip. Maybe catskills actually was wishing for a "very sick stake in you,"
along the lines of the punji sticks used by the Viet Cong during one of
    America's other stupid wars.

I'm assuming you are responding to JC. However, by doing so, you are
just playing into his hands and doing EXACTLY what he wants you to do.
He LIVES for posters like you who take his bait. If he thinks he
detects a SPECIFIC weakness on your part (such as a temporary dip in
your confidence regarding a new job), he will hone in on it, feeding on
your perceived insecurities; otherwise, he'll just generically insult
you. He occasionally says something truthful/useful to someone, as if
that excuses his behavior, and some people buy into that and actually
defend him because of it. Frankly, I see his "style" as akin to someone
hitting you on the head with a heavy board with the pointy ends of nails
sticking out of it -- WHILE they are bashing you repeatedly over the
head with the deadly weapon, they occasionally pause to spout a terse
bit of useful tax information. That tax information may, indeed, be
useful, but you can get the same information from other people without
the abuse, so you have to decide if it's worth it to keep getting hit
over the head with a deadly weapon or to just ignore him and stay out of
his reach. He's going to keep swinging the weapon indiscriminately
ANYWAY, whether you are here or not -- but he'll only impact you if you
allow yourself to be a target.

Don't give him, a complete and utter stranger (and a major [censored], to
boot) power over you. You wouldn't take to heart (or likely even
ACKNOWLEDGE) an insult yelled by a snotty eighth-grader as he rides by
on his skateboard, so why respond to someone on the internet who has the
    same mentality?

  19. I realize your point, but I don't understand it. He may not agree with
everything everyone says and some things JC says are very true. And I
am the type of person who can look at my faults, and maybe I am not the
brightest or best in grammar but I don't personally get off on hurting
others. To be 100% percent honest, the way you (Saffire) have told me
things I did not want to hear helped me more than just coming out and
being insulting . You also have a nice descriptive writing style.
Thanks I am getting use to JC , actually I am feeding into his posts.
Look I am not perfect, sometimes my writing , grammar and spelling are
lousy, maybe he has a point. Could you see me writing a speech for a
CEO. But I did land a good postition and a decent pay rate, and I
    don't have to write speeches.

You make no sense and you ramble on about nothing. You should seriously try
getting elected to your local school board.
