  1. I was going through a drawer today and came across my old mfw t-shirt
("If the bar ain't bending... you're just pretendin"😉.
Ahh nostalgia... anyone else still got one? I know Krista's still
    around, who else?

I have one, but not with the same logo. 🙂

I've got mine - no slogan, just the testosterone diagram on the back
and "m.f.w" on the front. I still wear it regularly, and people still
hazard a guess as to what the molecule is. Alcohol is a regular guess,
as is crack, for some reason. I gave up trying to explain what the mfw
stands for. "A loose collective of people throughout the world with a
common interest in weight training", that sort of thing, just doesn't
seem to convey the true mfw. "Mental f**king weightlifters" is what I
    tell anyone who asks now.

Cool. We're into intellectual pursuits, fornication and weightlifting.

Not necessarily in that order, of course.

    My mfw shirt reads:
"The myth that women should not lift heavy is advanced only by women
who fear effort and men who fear women."

I had a hat in college with BOF on it. There may have been a hot ladle
(huge crane-sized ladle) of metal on it as well. When people (um,
people my age) would ask what it meant I'd say, Big Old [censored].

One day, while visiting Ohio State there was a mom and her daughter
behind me. The little girl -- probably 7 or 8 -- looked up and asked
what BOF meant; I explained 'Big Old Friend.' (Even 20 years ago I had
    SOME sense about me.)

A BOF, of course, is a Basic Oxygen Furnace.

    Lift first, then cardio. ;-)

What a great saying! I've repeated it to several people today.

(Reminds me of the episode of "The West Wing" that has "These Women" in
the title - President Bartlet oohs and aahs about the women in the White
    House at the end.)
