dont know, as i left before the presentations, though i do know it wasnt one of the scratch boys. I think someone from the 30+ groups stayed away. I think the heat really wasted everyone. When scratch caught my group it all kept together, with random attacks off the front.

    Isn't it mainly downhill?
Whenerver I go up there for the Avon Descent I'm amazed at how the drive up
to Northam is nearly all up hill.

well, the race actually goes around to york and then down to the lakes turnoff, so yep, i guess it is downhill from a sea level perspective, but i think the earth took to the theory of 1 up, 2 down in this part of the world, as there werent many flats or strictly downhill sections. It reminded me a lot of the collie-donnybrook....rolling...

that hill outside of york is definitely not downhill...

  6. I did the support race at the state 100k in busselton & there were times i
thought i was going on a slight down hill grade only to slow if i stopped
    pedalling...hills can be decieving....especially in a car....
....why stop pedaling your ask .....caus i was @%$*ed......didnt really
prepare for this but i finished......
