So yesterday I heard about a great deal on the Topeak Alien - rei-outlet was closing them out for $16 (usually $35). I thought about posting it here, but I figured I'd stir up all sorts of flames about spamming and such. Not that I really care if anyone bought one of these, I wasn't selling them.
So the question is: do people want to hear about good deals, or am I just going to be given a ration of [censored] about "spamming"? I suppose the real answer is probably "both".

Spammer. Actually, I think good bike deals are newsworthy. It would only be spam if you worked for REI, and even then, if it was a really good deal...

You post what you want Mr. B. I don't understand why folks spend so much energy giving a ration of [censored] about what others post, instead of ignoring them.
I for one like to be made aware of good deals out there, if I'm not interested, I don't open it.
