  1. I am a rookie to this but... I am in need of various vitamin supplements
(including iron) but can't stand taking pills. Is there anything I can mix
with food or eat as a candy bar type or anything like that.

    Thanks in advance... Bob

Yeah. It is called eating a good diet. With a good diet, you don't need
    vitamins.

  3. Mr. Sarcastic, you do if a medical condition leaves your body unable to
process many vitamins in the normal manner.

  4. Some of the protein powders add some vitamins and minerals.

    For example:
    http://www.advantagesupplements.com/bnatbeslowca.html

I have no commercial connection with the product or the websites selling it.

I think this particular product is the ideal diet powder, but the product
even says on the canister that it is not for dieting. I have consumed a lot
of this stuff with no ill effect.

Actually, that Dr. Sarcastic, to you.

Mr. Newman didn't state what brings him to conclude that he needs more
    vitamins.

I take one of these every morning:
    http://www.alacer.com/cgi-bin/dbsearch.exe?mdb=/products.mdb,tbl=products,DB_code=40,DBCOMP=ABS,template=/products/returntitle.htm

If link does not work go to http://www.alacer.com click on "products" and
then "emergen c". Sorry, no iron though.

    Why do you need iron?
    What books are you reading?
    How old are you?
What medical conditions do you have?
    What gender?
    Goals?

LEF makes a vitamin powder. It is
    pretty well designed.

I'd avoid the vitamin liquids as they
have serious stability issue once opened.

I have had gastric bypass surgery so a lot of the vitamins are not absorbed
in the normal way. I've also recently had cardiac bypass (unrelated
except...) naturally the docs want me to take a million heart pills. Couple
that with my natural affinity for pills and a lot of the time I don't take
    them as I should.

Yikes. Hopefully the lose of weight will help with the
DM and the heart problems. Do you wear an anti apnea
breathing device at night. If not it is vital you
get checked out. Sleep apnea will hasten aging if
    uncorrected.

Keep at it. It should improve with the lose of weight.
