Non-clipless pedals for a racer

funny how things work i'll give clipless pedals a go some time, but for
the moment narly flats work well for me.

i tryed bar ends on my road fitted mountain bike, and hated them, i felt
all squeezed in. so off them went.

They are available unless the track sprinters are using up old stock.
Some of them still use toe clips and two straps.

Those chaps in Bridgewater seem to have some nice ones

A colleague has some really nice Shimano toe-clip sealed bearing
pedals, but I can't find anywhere that stocks them. Instead, I got
some reasonable jobs from my LBS. Had to go back a couple of times
because they don't carry much stock and nor does the firm who keep
them stocked with such things.

I have the GR-9s on my Sardar, really comfortable on shorter runs, the issue
i foudn was as the pedal only has 1 side using them with your foot out of
the clips can be unfomfortable if doing it for any length of time. This was
of course much prefferable to having numb toes.

Dear All,

thanks all for the info. Edinburgh bicycle has a good range. Will
never use SJS as they over charged me once after giving me their
expert opinion.

Should of added to my request that I still. use old fashioned cleats.

New pedals are just part of my master plan to start to re-use my racer
since I abandoned it because it was just too unconfortable. ( saddle
to hard, pedals (clipless just too awkward ), handlebar reach ( easy
swap fix ), gear range ( not so easy CT chainset swap ) )
