Bill what I like is that there's always a rider in the frame, but the rider is at a distance that
he/she/it is not the focus, the trail and the whole visual package is.

At least its not some of the ear-popping stuff that tends to be in videos these days. I always feel
like the music should match the riding style, which is why my music is slow and plodding.

Excellent! There are some wild lines on those trails. Looks like a full body armor ride for me. I
like how you took the lines away from the edges. Could there be a reason for this 😉?

It is, but it's just different. you can't really compare them. Noble is far more techy than SJT and
the exposure is (or seems) worse. The other great thing about Noble is the drastic change in terrain
that you go through during the ride.

Come on down when the upper section is open and get the tour.

He He, The rider at a distance was not by design, the riders ahead of me were freaking flying most
of the time and I was having a hard time keeping up. The technical stuff was were I was loosing
speed as they just "floated" over much better than I.

Why yes it was. I had just put on a new type of grips the day before and they just did not work
for me. Gripped like hell but they were way too hard. Combined with the "Barney Rubble" section
from 1:00 to
1:45 made my hands hurt like hell halfway down that section.

That dude would be Mark "Mr Noble" Costantino. I think Mark calls Noble his home trail and he knows
it like the back of his hand.

Noble is certainly more technical that SJT. Better is always subjective, but they are both awesome
and offer different things.

SJT - Longer, maybe faster Noble - More Technical, Very different ecosystems between the top
and bottom.

The list could go on and on...Just get down and ride it!

I noticed you didn't get a whole lot of close up shots of Jimena. Now I know why she did so well at

One of our buddies rides a rigid and he had the misfortune of breaking his wrist on a section of the
trail not featured in Bill's video. He did a wonderful endo and only found out about the wrist about
8 weeks later when it still hurt. the bone fused back together but there was some minor nerve damage
that was surgically repaired.
