That would suck royaly if that is true. Cause my DURO tire on my muni is
bald as a drag tire, and I need to buy a new tire, and I was going to
pick the Gazz. So just incase this is true, I better order it soon.

I have a gazz, and am going to pick up a duro, as few mm difference
would make much more difference in mud shedding than 'other fat tire
benefits' methinks

one tiny pebble in you gazz treads click click clicks the frame
horribly, not to mention it binding up in mud.

do these expensive hand made frames offer a wider 'leg stance'? if so,
i want one

There was a similar rumor a year or two ago that Nokian was going to
stop making the fat 3" wide Gazzaloddi. That rumor turned out to be
false. Let's hope that this rumor turns out to be false too.

In any event, I've got 4 Gazz tires stored away just in case.

Not quite false... they did stop production. John Drummond bought the
whole of the US stock, I bought the whole of the European stock. They
then realised that if companies were willing to put such an outlay out
to keep stock then there must be a demand and they re-started
production!

Thanks for clearing the fog! But it really baffles me that a big company
like Nokian with its international market don't have a better feel for
customer's demand. Or perhaps they just needed to boost their cash-flow
...
