Reminiscent of pre-mid-'90's, when riders occasionally had bad days, and
pure climbers were fatigued by the fast first week....

If he's not clean, he needs a new training consultant.

problem with a knee. If that's the case, I'm surprised he didn't climb off

And now I just saw another blurb of an interview there where Mayo himself
said he just didn't have any legs.

Whatever the case, it's too bad. I was hoping to see him animate things in
the mountains.

Many of the stages from the first week were finishing later than the
latest estimated time, so the first week was slower than usual.
