  1. I have to admit, I hoped Lance would not win this year. I am not LA fan, however, after seeing him
come back near the summit of today's stage I am impressed with his tenacity. As Sherwin stated, it
was much like Roche/Delgado and it makes a great race!

Either Ullrich or LA will be deserving winners of this TDF.

But Roche has proven himself an ass with his comments about Hamilton.

Of course, I agree, however no doubt Ullrich will lose more time to Lance by the time
    Monday is over.

The commentators are paid to create excitement with hyperbole. That was nowhere near what Roche did.
Roche was dropping close to a minute at the previous time check yet came in right behind Delgado to
    lose 4 seconds (IIRC).

Lance is hanging tough, I agree.

Ken, I wouldn't be placing any bets. I think Lance's evaluation of Jan has been right on target.
Unfortunately for Lance, Jan seems to have grown into his comments. I'm pulling for Jan, but I'd
never write off Lance's toughness. Bill C

It's good you're pulling for Jan, someone is going to need to pull him after he cracks within the
    next couple of days.

I expect Lance to have a 2 minute lead over Jan even before the TTT in stage 19.

There is no TTT on stage 19, it's a ITT.

That was a SPOOF post. Some dipshit, too afraid to use their own name, is using mine on Yahoo.
