    From you site:

"Very small amounts of silica are normally present in all body
tissues but there is no evidence that they play any physiological
    role."

    See? they play no role.

Silica plays no role that pharmaceutical controlled medicine will
admit to because they follow the line that pharmaceutical remedies are
all that is necessary. This is why I don't trust them with my health.
They go to great lengths to deny vitamins and minerals have any useful
    purpose.

Of course minerals are relevant. I even said so in a post yesterday.
However, silicon dioxide is not an essential mineral, even in trace
amounts. You'd be very healthy even if it were removed from your
diet. It's just sand, no matter what you think (this is an example of
your total lack of scientific knowledge really biting you).

And calcium is really plaster, iron is really screws and nails, and
magnesium is something they make bombs with or is that potassium?

Different diseases can have night sweats as a symptom. However,
regardless of the disease, according to cellsalts theory night sweats
from any cause is a call for silica or silicon dioxide.

    can get night sweats

Well yes, according to the theory as I understand it. The name of the
actual disease is irrelevant, cellsalts treat the symptoms whatever
the name of the disease. That's the soil theory which I believe in.

The way I see it if the person kept taking the cellsalts their
symptoms would gradually diminish. From my experience, the symptoms
get treated at the time they occur by getting rid of them on that
occasion, and on other occasions as they occur.

It stands to reason also that with continued intake of a nutrient/
cellsalt that eventually this deficiency will be eliminated.

Geez, and here one of the most common accusations levelled against MDs
is that they "just treat symptoms and not the underlying cause." Now
Carole is telling us that cellsalts treat the symptoms no matter what
the underlying cause -- but this is Good.

Go long enough and the symptoms will definitely vanish -- when the
    patient dies of old age.

If the person does have a deficiency, dosing with homeopathic amounts
guarantees a long, long recovery period.

I thought it was supposed to be conventional medicine which
just treated superficial symptoms and alt. which got to the
    root causes of disease?

Not true. Homeopathy is a popular alternative treatment that quite
    clearly only treats the symptoms.

Not if you believe homeopathy -- if homeopathy is valid,
    it would exacerbate the condition.

Another reason to use silica to treat nightsweats is that other silica
related symptoms can arise which can be treated simultaneously. For
example tinnitus (ringing in the ears), itchy eyes and nose, clogged
up nose, helps joints work better, silica helps with arterochlorosis
    (plaque in arteries).

Silica (sometimes called silicon dioxide) is one of the 12 essential
cellsalts which is essential to the human body and is found in every
    cell.
