Do you remember Dickie Davis's wrestling on a Saturday. They had Kendo Nagasaki, Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks.
The plot:
The huge blub of lard Big Daddy would get into the ring and then rush at the skinny dude at the other side of the ring and bounce him off his belly. All he ever did was bounce people and run at them.
The other plot would be to have a bad guy who spent several rounds fouling and beating up the good guy. Then, at the end, the good guy would make a comeback and all the women in the audience would scream.
The punches were hilarious as there was no contact.

i remember a few weeks back flicking through the channels and came to Sky One. There was the wrestling on and some guy was standing in the ring mouthing off (as they always do) and the word 'ass' was frequently used (slightly gay if you ask me). This word was actually removed as an expletive! Everytime the fat yank said the word ass it was bleeped out? How do you people find offence in that? Then when he had finished, three other fat yanks rushed the stage and pretended to kick and punch him to the ground and give him a beating. This was not censored however. Obviously the attack isnt real but a lot of Yanks belive that wwf is real.
So the word ass is considered swearing but a simulated gang attack on one guy seems normal. No wonder America is so [censored] up.
anyway...please answer my first question coz i am dying to know.

yep, i remember it...World of Sport was the name of the programme. Apparently some of the guys that are still alive are still doing the Bournemouth/Blackpool etc. circuit.
Much better than iknowfukall's UFC...bunch of big pansies.
