Actually I shouldn't be that hard to pick out from the TV coverage. There wasn't a lot of space except that the roundabout in the Place du Cognet (at the 500m point) was entirely enclosed by barriers. So if you climbed over a barrier you had a pretty good spot. The color is because it is spiked with a liquor made from a mountain flower. The liquor by itself will get your attention. When added to the beer it bumps the alcohol content over 10%.
