nice

Today it was minus 29C wind-chill and I took a Taxi. I mentioned to the cabbie in passing that I
usually ride a bicycle everyday but at -29 it was way too cold. The cabbie then says...oh I see this
guy ride the weirdest looking bicycle downtown everyday...even in the snow, in the worst weather U
can imagine...the guy must be nuts. I ask what the weird bike looks like and he describes my CLWB to
a tee. He goes on and on about how the bike looks sooo comfortable,yet sooo weird too. He then looks
in his mirror and says..U know, the guy wears a blue coat and dark lens glasses just like yours. I
smile and the ride is over. I guess my riding is finally making an impact....how nice. (gotta work
on the being nuts part).

Yeah.. I have a helemt I am painting to look like a beanie (needs a couple more stripes). I have
a propeller on top of it. Spins like crazy, but I have to put a spot of grease on the shaft
before a long ride or it starts to vibrate. One learns to orient one's self in life to take
advantage of natural strengths.. I look goofy enough on my bent, so I go with that strength,
rather than fight it. :-)
