Next silly question .. HPX pump

HP - hard stop for for pumping tyres up to High Pressure
X - sprung stop for fitting into bike frame or pump mount braze-ons

There isn't a lock

No, on "x" the spring operates so you can wedge the pump into its
parking place in the frame. On "hp" the spring is locked out so you can
get a bit more pressure into the tyre with each pump. "Hp" for pumping,
"x" for stowing.

Hmm .. well having a 'screw' thread on the top of the body was a little
confusing then!

So their couriers wouldn't lose it or crush it? Because if they don't
use up their supply of cardboard boxes they have to pay to have them
recycled?
