I tried to roast a turtle as your recipe describes. The shell did not
crack. It just kept burning and burning till it turned completely
black. I had to crack it open myself. The meat was all dried out and
tasted really smokey. I was not pleased.
Maybe I used the wrong turtle. What kind did you use?

only speaking for myself here, but I for won wouldn't enjoy consuming those.
I would. I mean, I don't know for sure that I would enjoy them, but I
