  1. Okay, by popular demand (TWO people asked :-), I've posted a current
photo (current by about 2-3 hours ago, in fact) -- see sig for URL.
I've only lost 7.5 lbs since the last one, BUT those 7.5 lbs definitely
make a difference, especially since it took me 6 months to do it (lots
of body adjustment going on during that time, I think). I DO know that
I had to take in the clothes that I wear for the photos yet again to
get the snug look :-) They're so snug, in fact, that I wouldn't DARE
    wear them in public :-)

For you newbies and stragglers, keep in mind that we all lose at
different rates. It's taken me 22 months to take off 63 lbs and I
still have 17 more to go to get to goal. MOST people lose faster than
me, but I have my own set of physical issues to deal with, so for me it
happens when it happens. That said, persistence pays off, so if you
have some challenges that keep you from losing as quickly as you'd
like, take heart and know that if *I* can do it, you probably can
*too*! I always keep in mind that if I hadn't started low-carbing, I'd
STILL be just as heavy as I was in my before photo (and probably even
heavier), so however long it takes is worth it to ME! In the meantime,
I eat VERY well and feel GREAT!

  2. Looking pretty darn fantastic Saffy! Excellent progress.
Congrats on your dedication for the slow loss. I don't know if I could
handle it. Sometimes when mine slows down I get so anxious.

    Good job!

  4. With your frame you could stand to lose another 20 pounds, but at the rate
you're going, that might take another couple or 5 more years.

OK, now that is SO GREAT, Saffire! And your attitude is so wonderful, if
this is a lifestyle for you and it's happening, there's no need to break
any speed records right? Such excellent results you're getting, wow! 🙂

Of course not :-) I just happen to be very handy with a sewing
machine, which has been getting quite a workout over the last 16-18
months -- in fact I went out and bought a new one not long after I
started low-carbing. I'm getting to the point of no return on the
pants, though -- when you buy the larger ones, the length between the
seat and the waist is longer, so while taking them in is one thing,
shortening them is another, at least when zippers are involved. I
don't think they are worth THAT much work, so I'll have to invest in
some new ones soon. DARN ;-)
