Just wanted to introduce myself, and say "Hi" to all you roadies. I have been into cycling since 1988 when I started racing with the British Road and Time Trials Council in the Peterborough area. I then returned to the US where I became a USCF member and raced for a few years around Texas, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. I had a leg injurie that sidelined me for a few years and I eventually switched to MTB's. I have decided to return to road racing and purchased a Allez to get me started.
Well I guess that's enough BS about me....hope to contribute to the board.😄

ha ha I can talk all day about the car! It's a US Spec 1975 911S...I have completed many mods to her as she now has a 3.6 engine from a 1995 993. The other mods include a complete RS interior, Koni adjustables up front and Bilstein HD in the back....the car is pretty lightweight (2200 lbs) and is producing just above the normal 280 HP from the factory 993 that weighs in at over 3000 lbs. Power to weight is the key here, this car has been my passion for the past few years. Ok...enough OT talk...back to the bike.
thanks Well just like when I was in the UK, the riders in europe are pretty talented and if you can surround yourself with them, you will only get better as you train and race with them. At the moment I am not able to ride at all as I am in Iraq, so I will not be doing any training or racing this year until after Sept. I am a K9cop in the USAF, with my current duty I do not actually work with a dog...I am the management for the kennel section (Kennelmaster) so I basically run the K9 program here.
