Quoted message said:The straps kept coming unglued on my old Giro lid so Ijust bought a Bell Ghisallo. It's much a
better fit for the shape of my head and quite a bit lighter, but fitting the headtorch is going
to be a tad fiddly. I like the rear adjustment better than the Giro. It was ludicrously
expensive, though, at something over fifty English pounds after CTC members' discount.
Guy, I am thinking of advertising in the CTC magazine, do darksiders read it, or is it still the
premise of the NIMBY?
Well, I read it. Now would probably actually be a reasonably good time - there's been a run of
letters mentioning the advantages of the true path over the last few editions, and not so long ago a
review of something-or-other (albeit, one with insufficient wheels).
Some are still a bit fuddy-duddy - some brouhaha recently about putting a couple of cyclists on teh
front cover wearing lycra! and they were on bicycles without mudguards! Also, teh editor's made some
odd comments, along the lines of he doesn't think recumbents have advantages over uprights because
we're all cyclists and shouldn't form cliques, and anyway recumbents have all sorts of disadvantages
compared with uprights.
There might be other places more targetted, however.
