i think it's more the sheer clumsiness of those dogs on land that gives me the willies, the one element outside of my control. those other dogs are very predictable and so avoidable as scarey as their attacks can be.

My dog Bo loves kittens...........with a little soy sauce.😄
i will say this albeit i'm not sure i should but i guess it's the little mean streak i have in me, i encourage Pumpkin to tease the hell out of this little cat which she does so gleefully. the little one gets so, so damned irritated and then just lies there, playing dead, hoping the carnage is over for her and it is...until i put it back in Pumpkin's lap. 😄

How about Shadow?
-
How about Lucky?.......because the cat is damn lucky it was found by you.
-
^ the little one is never in danger of being hurt. Pumpkin, a retriever bird huntin' dog, treats it like it's her own pup, mostly slobbering over the kitten which really irritates the thing and that's about as far as it goes..

So what did you end up going with? Did you pick a name from this thread or come up with one of your own?

couldn't resist, could you? i actually thought of that for a split second but no, it can't be named that. still having trouble coming up with a name, something elf meets lion like would do the trick.
here's another pic for your viewing pleasure. i almost can't stop taking pics of the thing now...
1. Lucky
2. Shadow
3. Portia (just cuz you found her on a porch)Or, what you could do is name her after a Greek, Roman, or Norse god or goddess. Hell, I have 4 cats named after Greek gods and goddesses; Zeus, Ares, Iris, and Ersa.
What's the cat's personality like? Is she super-playful or just sort of chill? What's her temperament?

thanks for the name suggestions everyone. the kitten is, well, a kitten and she is either sleeping or biting my feet and arms and cheeks sometimes, waking me up. happy go lucky attack kitten, bring slight into every room she wobbles all arched back sideways attack position into, brings light into my soul, into the household.
i have found her name, Shiloh.
Gender:Name suitable for both gender Origin:Hebrew
Meaning:The Hebrew name Shiloh means - God's gift. Bible: a sanctuary for the Israelites where the Ark of the Covenant was kept -

I have fond memories of getting my ass handed to me repeatedly by pretty much everyone on that site. I started riding, living, breathing through that site and albeit i don't post there any longer, it is a part of me.
Again, thanks WB.
