Cheap at half the price. Honestly, I don't begrudge them a penny of it.
I agree. It was better when it was free but I don't begrudge them £7 a year for the good service they provide.
What's the alternative?
The internet amuses me, as does it all of us maybe...maybe.
Like, it's free. Oh really? Who says and why and how come? No, really, it's all free....forever. [yawn].
Although thinking about it, [reverting to normal cynical mode] in my 'haven't-got-a-clue-business-sense', you get a company/institution provide a top class service for free [which this is], get a MASSIVE subscriber base.....and then charge! LOL. Fair play to them. String that buck baby. Why don't Microsoft do that?lol. I need another beer.
For the avoidance of doubt, the price is ten of your earth Euros, being rather under seven of the BRITONS' Pounds or 186,000,000 Lire in old money.
Of course, one of the little bugbears with the system is its ability to strip the ? (Euro), £ (Pound) and other non-ASCII symbols from my plain text postings.
OE isn't producing the neccessary MIME headers for the non-ASCII symbols you're using.

Oh, thanks. I've turned on MIME headers, let's see if that does the job.
