short, even evasive, on the important details, such as:

Okay, but what is the range? Surely someone at Fallbrook knows! The
Rohloff has a range of 527%, the Shimano 8-speed Nexus has a range of
307%. I would be very interested in the efficiency and how it was
determined; it's obviously important in a human-power application.
