    As usual, the site provides plenty of breathless prose, but is very
    short, even evasive, on the important details, such as:

    i have no more info, but there was a note in cyclingnews' coverage
    of interbike last year:

    they mention 400%, but not much about the efficiency of the unit.

  3. ratio range is 3.57

    a meaningful number for efficiency is difficult even for a chain as it
    involves many variables (chain speed etc.) and they haven't released
    any information here

    Not sure yet. If they go cheap and not enough people won't buy it. If it has
    the magic number ratio and costs too much, it wont sell either.

    makes a point of touting its use for "pleasure/commuter" applications.

    I think they know it'll never be good enough for any kind of race.

    Who cares? The kinds of cars most people drive would never be good for
    any kind of race either. That doesn't keep them from outselling race
    cars by a thousandfold.

    The key question (which Fallbrook haven't managed to answer in the
    couple of years they've been teasing the public) isn't whether it's
    good for racing, but simply whether it's good.
