I was wrong. Alize Piste is discontinued. I think TA make single

I was able to order a single Zephyr LH crank not long ago via the UK
distributor RJChicken. The Zephyr LH was identical to the older model of
Alizé. The newer Alizé had the square taper orientation rotated by 45
degrees, among other changes.
Yes I know. I bought a replacement Alize LH crank previously when I
stupidly contrived to strip the pedal thread (lesson learned, do them
up tight). I had a spare Zephyr crank which I would of used then, but
for the rotation.
Chickens told my LBS about TA's cessation of Alize production.

The Impact is essentially a rebadged Sugino Fuse/XD - good value for money,
medium quality, but the tread is quite wide. I have a Speedlight Piste,
which is similar to the Mygal. It's very attractive and light, but doesn't
give the impression of being as robust as the TA. The arm is slimmer, and
there's less metal around the pedal eye.
The distributor for my LBS could only supply Impact so I decided
against Stronglight.

I am talking to them. Unfortunately it is a small shop that does not
sell many single ring cranks at the TA quality level. The shop's
standard response for a good quality crank set TA. Steve told me
that they could get some cheap stuff and some high end track stuff
(Dura ace / Record £Eeek!!) which he did not think I would want. He
also suggested the low cost alternative of a Suntour LH crank if I
didn't mind the mismatched cosmetic difference. This apparently had
the wonky taper hole.
I have asked the shop to see if they can get TA Carmina in a single
chainring configuration. Either single spider or Double Spider with
chain guard (Same chainline drawback as Stronglight). Whatever would
work.
