  1. So I got an email today.. they are going to launch a BUG at the Uni and
have arranged a photocall with the rector (a certain female TV presenter
    by the name of Kelly).

So if you are at Dundee Uni (and there are a few on the list) this is
    what you need to know..

"Lorraine Kelly will be on campus tomorrow (Wednesday)and we hope to
take advantage of a photoshoot to promote the BUG once established
If you are available and willing, could you please be at the Geddes
Quad, complete with bike and gear."

Actually, knowing the time would also be useful but they haven't got
back to me with that one..

I'll try and be there, if it is sometime in the morning.
I don't normally bring much gear though!

12.30 (I now have the time). I can't make that, unfortunately.

Neither can I. Carpet guy comes "some time after 12". Which means 5 pm (or
the next morning) unless I am /not/ at home at 12.

It is a web site, which may be found with a search engine. I did
once take a look and found the famous picture where her jersey is
fairly see-through. Very attractive she looks too and good of her
not to take herself too seriously.

I do hope someone manages to turn up with a bike. Less than 24 hours
    notice is rather silly.

I will always explain revoked keys, unless the UK government
prevents me by using the RIP Act 2000.

I'm glad you asked, it saved me the trouble, I had never come accross a BUG
    before.

So, has anyone heard how it went?

More importantly, did the carpet guy appear?

And there was me thinking they were testing the rate of contagion of avian

Yes, at 4:30. And the carpet didn't fit....

    Sorry to hear that.

They managed to bring entirely the wrong carpet when I had my living
room done. They didn't show it to me before fitting it, so they had
to come back another day and replace it.

We didn't fare /quite/ that badly: it was stairs and landing, but the
landing had been pre-cut wrong so they did the stairs, bodged the
landing for the time being and will be back with a bit of (hopefully)
the right dimensions to finish off sometime (hopefully) soon.

No furniture to move, so not too traumatic.
