Ever found yourself standing in the shed, at night, looking at your new bike and grinning like a Cheshire cat? Stroking the stanchions and fondling the rear shock? Oiling the chain that you oiled only yesterday? Aligning the saddle to within half a degree of horizontal using a spirit level? Playing with the Julies?
Sad really, I need to get out more.................time to fit some lights methinks :-)

Later,

My bikes live in the house with me. Though are probably feeling a bit more neglected than when they were new.

What bike did you get? Post a link to pics?
Mike
I set myself a limit of 1,000 sterling and spent 1,075 :-) on a Marin Alpine Trail. Figured it was a good spec for the price (well for the UK price that is) and also a good frame to upgrade when I feel the urge. No pics of my own yet, perhaps this weekend, but the UK spec model is here marin.co.ukmarinOpen ↗ 2004/bikedetail.php?ModNo=2430
Only one decent trip out so far and most of that was through the local woods (so plenty of mud etc.) on the 5" setting. Nice, but I figure it'll take a little time to adjust from my hardtail.
I only started riding seriously last August and this is already my second "proper" bike so I'm breaking 'er indoors (on her first reasonable bike) in gently :-).
