This series of shoes is noted for being pretty shallow through the middle of
the shoe, so if you have a wide foot or tall instep you'll probably struggle
with them.

I agree with you. Unlike you I am still running in Asics (currently
alternating Kayanos and Evo's) and one of the reasons I am attracted to
Asics is because the footpocket works well for big people with wide feet. In
particular is the Nimbus, but the weight of that shoe is a detriment.

Though, as we spoke of before, I have never seen 500 miles out of an Asics
shoe. But I think my size plays a role in show mileage.

There are a lot of variables, as Lance alludes to. Body weight is one,
durability of the shoe is another. The NB motion control shoes are
a durable shoe, built like tanks, I'd possibly get 1000+ out of them

What model? I rotinely get 1000 to 1500 out of a pair of 2090's, and even then,
it's usually it's the tops that give out.

OK Fab.....you've "slipped". You say this in such a way as to suggest you've
gone through numerous pairs of 2090s.

Your response suggest you've gone through at least....what?...4 pairs? or
4,000-6,000+ miles on 2090's?

The shoes been on the market for 12-13 months. You are telling the ng that
you've done 4K-6K+ miles in 1 year.

IMO your post Fab suggest you run 100 mile/week. We all know that's not the
case. You Fab _do not_ in fact routinely get 1K-1.5K in your 2090's as you
probably run 2500 miles/yr Max.....but more likely...1,500-1700 Miles/year.

I hate to bust you like this...but you stepped in it Pal. It's not like you
had any credibility in the first place of being a real runner.....but you are
so passionately against Nike shoes.....I figure you are somewhat of a real
runner based on that posture alone.

Negative. My last pair were 2090's, but previous to that I wore 1090's, and got
the same results consistently.
