Neuvation M28 Aero

These are great wheels for the money. I got mine with a deal from nue. for shop employees so they cost me $145 shipped. They retail for $350-ish and I think they are worth every penny. mine have stayed true except when I ran right into a curb at 20mph:eek: (I stayed up-right but did a duck skid) I still run that wheel with no problems. But CXP33s are great wheels too from what I hear.

Same wheel as the Supergo Korso ($200/pair) and Performance Titan ($220/pair). Search this forum, lots of prior discussion.

ive been riding a set in korso colors for the last year at approx 4k miles.

been bulletproof for me. ive NEVER even touched them with a spoke wrench! 😄

ONE THING, call john at neuvation to get at least spare spokes, 1 size for F, and 2 diff sizes for rear. he also sells an upgraded "abec-5" bearing kit.

are they strong? you bet.
are they the lightest? NO, approx 1750 grams

are they a good value? ABSOLUTELY

i just bought a 2nd set as backups when BN had them for $150

my orig set was OEM on my bike, and was the ONLY part i was unsure about.
my concern has proven to be unfounded.

if you want a signif lighter set of hi-qual wheels, bring a BUNCH of cash. 🙄

Neuvation has a new line coming out soon called the R28 Aero and R28 SL. They weigh in at 1570. Here is a blurb from there newsletter:

[indent]The R 28 Aero weighs 1570 grams a set and comes with 5.0 mm aero spokes that are oversize (2.3 mm) at the bend for extra strength. The 420 gram, 27 mm, deep V, rim is from the same maker as the M 28 Aero rim

The high quality hubs are currently used by other high end wheel companies. Available in both Campy and Shimano versions.

Normal alloy quick release levers (not the long travel quick lever I offer), rim strips, and extra spokes are iincluded with each set.

SRP is $499 but if you prebook now, pay only $399 and get a free wheel $80 bag (info below).
