    Hi Guys,

    I need help I will be going to Sydney for a Holiday this comming September and would like to ask if anybody knows were can I go shop for parts and accessories?

    Will be looking for the ff items:

    1. Full suspension frame
    2. 07 XTR hydro breaks ( I prefer the cool new XTR combo levers )
    3. Rock Shock forks Maybe SID depending on the price
    4. Chris King Headset
    5. Jersey maybe if I stilll have spending money 🙂

    Really appriciate it if you guys can post the name and address of the shop if there is a number will be great.

    BTW I will be staying with my cousin at Rockdale Plaza drive

    Hi Joe,

    There's quite a few to choose from but here's a start -

    cyclery.com.aucyclery.com.au (Sydney City: three levels including workshop, plenty of stuff to choose from, a little pricey)

    fraserscycles.com.aufraserscycles.com.au (south of Rockdale; about 20-25 minutes drive depending on traffic, large store, good prices, nice staff)

    woolyswheels.comhome.html (Eastern suburbs; not far from the city though, very good range, prices are what you expect for a store near the city)

    citybikedepot.com.aucitybikedepot.com.au (reasonably new store compared to the others, very nice people to deal with, good range, I recommend them but am biased as they are just down the road from my work and I like to drool over their bikes)

    phantomcycles.com.auhome.php (an hours drive or so out of the city but these guys have great prices, great service and a great range. From Rockdale it shouldn't be too hard to get to as the M5 freeway is not far and it's a pretty straight drive from there.

    I figure if you're after a full suss you'll be doing some off-road riding while you're here so here's some links to get you started -

    THAT IS one super d duper help gosh I think I will be busy going up and down these stores. I normally take my own sweet to time visit bikes shops trying to see what cool accessories...

    Ya the rating really helps to.... I better get ready with this sure there will be a big hole from my pocket and credit card CHING! CHING!

    Just to add to 1d10t's post, we have dealt with Phantom Cycles quite a bit both in person and via mail order.
    They are very helpful and very knowledgeable.
    Given you are after some specific stuff, you could drop them a line and see what they can do for you before you get here, so it's all ready for you to collect when you arrive.

    Hi Joe, where abouts in Sydney are you going to live? Good to get the bike from a LBS near where you live.

    Thanks Can you pls post the URL for there website I think this is a cool service and suggestion. Im not familiar with the place. But I got a tourist guide with me so should be no problem locating them I Hope 🙂

    It is the one in 1d10t's post -

    They are based in Tahmoor, which is off the Hume Highway, you take the Picton exit to get there. Kerry is the name of the owner, a very helpful bloke. He is also on MSN (add [email hidden] to your contacts list) and he actually answers questions when you send them to him.

    Judging from 1id10t post some I think is quit near the place I hope 😄
