Yeah - the "quick and dirty" meal never gets "points". It will show you for
the indolent ignoramus you are.

A braised Chuck Roast will do wonders, followed by a Crepes Suzette dessert.

The Roast takes 30 minutes prep and three to cook.
The crepes - 15 minutes prep - 1-1/2 hrs standing, - 1/2 hr to cook the
Crepes, 15 minutes to flambé.

You explained most of your problem above i.e. quick, cheap and simple. A
Romeo you will never be. If you try your *bestest* maybe you can figure
out how to make a ham and egg sandwich. At least you'll get *some* lunch.

Under the circumstances, peanut butter and jelly seems overly ambitious.
You could just cough for brownies, stir the weed into those and kill two
birds with one stone -- warning: beer and brownies is not the best match
but when all one wants is to get laid one cannot be choosy. Also, girl
vomit is worse than boy vomit and girl plus food plus beer invariably
equals vomit, so get onto Dad and tell him to send along a change of
clothes to be on the safe side.
