  1. NBA is much more exciting than World Wrestling Entertainment. It seems
more authentic, when that guy threw the beer in that players face, and then
the player attacked the wrong fan, who was holding a beer in each hand. I
don't know who scripted the action, but it was great. Exciting, exciting,
    exciting......

Didn't athletes learn anything from Slapshot? Ron Artest looked just like
Jeff Hanson going after the wrong fan.

In increasing order of seeming authenticity, we have:

    - WWE
    - NBA
    - US Politics

I'd like to know where those hundreds of millions are coming from. Is Nike
paying for the NBA? Time to pull the money from that pit.

    Increasing? Decreasing?
Insert UCI between WWE and NBA.

As I was entering the Atlas Cafe in the Mission of San Francisco a few
weeks ago, a scruffy-looking guy stopped me, noting the Team Fuji bike I
locked to one of the many bike races outside.

"In the early 90's I used to race for Team Fuji," he said. I suppressed
my smile -- he looked too old to have raced even that long ago, but
maybe. I asked he where. "Italy..... we were thrown off the team for
    smoking weed."

Interesting, I assured him, and moved into the cafe.

Later, inside, he confronted me again. "Do you know what Fuji is named
after?" I gave the obvious answer, clearly not what he was after.
"[censored] Useless Japanese Import," he corrected. This time I didn't
    supress the smile, and left.
