This FAQ gives a lot of information, but leaves out the dates. I think
they are still working on the exact start and end dates, but I think
they are roughly in the July 22-28 range. That is an *estimate* so
don't make vacation plans around that! Contact the club for further
information.
The location is Eastern Michigan University, in Ypsilanti. Same
location as 1985 and 88, if you were around then. Plans are to use an
outdoor, 400 meter track, not the 200m indoor track we used in those
years. Rain schmain. Ypsilanti is next to Ann Arbor, MI, home of the
University of Michigan. It's an interesting town, unlike Adrian, which
was small and really far from anywhere.

How come they never come to the conventions? In other words there
haven't been many CT riders over the years. Of course you're welcome;

In response to all the requests for conventions closer to "me," the
determination of convention locations is made by the hosts. Those are
the people who are doing all the work, so it's their pick. The 1983
convention in Syracuse was a little different, as that location was
chosen based on a good convention-facilities packet they'd sent to the
USA, and no specific hosting club. That led to the first Unicon in 1984
in the same location.
Being in range of Cedar Point (the world's greatest amusement park)
again, I'll be organizing an informal group trip there after the
convention is over. Details TBA after there are convention dates.
