Well, it's that season again. Fresh produce that can be gathered
from what little land remains to us.
It'll be a couple of months before I can collect more luvverly
juicy blackberries than I can eat within five minutes walk of
the front door. But today I jumped onto the MTB and pedalled
up into the part of the moors marked "danger area" on the OS
maps. There I left the bike, and walked further up the moors
to collect blueberries. They're tiny, and thus lots of work
for little reward, but they don't fight back like blackberries.
A skinny dip in the river completed a perfect afternoon out.
Now I've just eaten a plate of pasta, and am about to indulge
in dessert. Yum!
Downside? I really ought to be catching up on some work,
now it's a (very) little cooler.
