narrow road shoes

I just bought a pair of Sidi Genius 4 road shoes in the narrow fitting. They
come in three widths. Some stores carry the narrow fitting and some don't.
But they are the only narrow shoe I have found. And, for me, they are a
perfect fit.

I recently got a pair of the cheapo Nashbar road shoes (made by Lake) and
they fit my narrow feet great. $32 if they're still on sale.

I have a narrow foot, but found the normal Sidi G4 do fit fine, so the
narrows must be VERY narrow.

I have similar feet, and my Nike's fit really well. Sidi normal width was
too wide, and my LBS doesn't carry narrow.

Particularly the older ones. I have some Nike Poggios (not Poggio IIs) that
almost fit my 11.5 AA feet (I still had to have the straps modified;
otherwise, the strap pulled so far over that the velcro was no longer making
contact).

Unfortunately for you & I, the newer Nikes are considerably wider. Overall
that's a good thing, as they fit far more people. Just doesn't do me (or
you) any good.
