Basically I need some help coming up with a name for a ride that I am planning. Backstory of why I am doing the ride. My Mother died of Breast cancer on April 22, 2010. I still have not yet really accepted her death and the only thing that seems to help me at all is riding. Therefore, I came up with the idea of this ride. I live in Jacksonville Florida and my Mother's Ashes are in Lawrence Kansas. I plan on riding from Joe's Crab Shack (Mom's Favorite Restaurant when she visited) to Trinity Episcopal Church (where Mom's Ashes are located). Total mileage is about 1500 miles. I plan on doing this ride in April of 2015 and arriving at the church on April 22nd after riding only 70 miles that day, (1 mile for every year she was alive). I want to do this ride in order to raise funds and awareness, but I need a name for this ride and I am creatively stumped right now. Any and all help would be appreciated or maybe just a suggestion on something to think about to get the creativity going again. Thanks!!!

First off, sorry for you loss. At least you found your comfort zone when it comes to mourning. Second off, what an inspiring story. I applaud you in your efforts. I will try to think of some names. As of right now I can only think of "The ride of life." Hopefully I can bring you more

I'd personally suggest naming the ride after your mother in some way. Sorry for your loss, but I hope it all goes well, and I'm sure you're making her so proud right now 🙂
