As you can see from my signature I now have 45 Munros to go
- I reckon this will take me a couple of years. So will
probably try to finish on my birthday in June 2006 with the
traditional Ben More, Mull.
However, I am also thinking of trying to bag one of
the Donald/Graham/Marilyns on the way home the next
day - probably Cauldcleuch Head. And engineer it so
that it would be:
1. My final Donald.
2. My final Graham south of the Highland Fault line.
3. My final Marilyn south of the Highland Fault line -
over 400 metres on mainland Britain.
4. My final Marilyn within a 200-kilometre radius of my
home - on mainland Britain (or British Isles if I
can fit in a visit to the Isle of Man - this would
also complete the Hewitts within the same radius).
5. Possibly, my final Marilyn within a 300-kilometre
radius of my home - on mainland Britain (or British
Isles if I can fit in a visit to the Isle of Man and
the Mourne mountains - this could also complete the
Hewitts within the same radius).
6. And, wouldn't it be nice if it were to be my 600th
Marilyn and entitle me to enter the Marilyn Hall of
Fame, too?
Anyone wishing to join me for either of the trips is
welcome.
Trouble is, would this leave me with nothing else to
live for? :-)
