  1. ive been looking to get a new helmet for a long time and i finaly found
one i liked.its made by Capix, who doesnt even have a web site.ive never
seen a skull cap like this one and i pretty much just stumbled on to
    it.

its acually a wake boarding helmet but is worn by a few sponcered pro
skaters too.the down side is it only comes stock with 2 air holes.well i
fixed that, i tediously added 12 more!

i was really carefull not to drill the holes at random.i paid 40 bucks
for this thing and here i am perfferating it? it reminded me of the CF
plate but it had to be done.i think i did a pretty good job at keeping
    them all uniform.

if you look very close, just above the DT sticker you can see me leaning
    in for the pic.

  3. This may or may not be a dumbass question but here goes:

Is it designed to be worn "backwards"

That is, backwards with the brim thingy behind your head.

  7. Jagur, Can you take a picture of the inside. I can't tell from their
website what it looks like. Second, sometimes it is hard to tell when
you are being sarcastic. It doesn't always translate well to written
    words.

thanx,i need this helmet would shake things up a bit.the words cool and
helmet dont usally sit well together.

now why would they have a web site with a differant spelling than whats
on the product? i did a search awile ago and saw Capixco as a link but
thought it was a oil company or somthing....i learned that mine is the
Pro Sports cap and is 336 grams

    -------------------------------------------
Bugman, yes i did drill holes in it.no sarcasim there or was there
somthing else you meant ? i cant take a pic of the inside because
DudleyDoRide is the camera in this town and i think he will be one on a
fishing trip for a week.i sould have thought of that.

i cant also say that you can wear this thing either direction but the
way the pads are,it is a better feel backwords.

  11. Truly a stylish helmet if I've ever seen one... and above the DT
sticker, would that be a Cars R Coffins sticker? I do belive so.
    Excellent choice.

  14. Seriously Jagur, that helmet is you! I really like a visor to shade my
eyes so I would prefer to wear it the other way if I could. Or I could
add a visor to the front, that would be a look.

And I think Bugman may have been referring to whether that was really
the way it was intended to be worn.

Anyway, good find. Let us know how you like it after some riding
    time.

I thought you were being sarcastic about it being worn the way you had
it on in the picture. Of course, I do believe *you* would wear it
    backwards, but that is you.

Is the inside paded similiar to any other BMX helmet? Also you did a
superb job on the holes. If you hadn't pointed it out, no
one would have been able to tell.
