hey, i just got a new Trek 5000. It is awesome and i just got it from the dealer today, but there is one wierd thing: on trek's website, they say that the tires are 700x23c, but on my bike they are 700x25c.. what does that mean? whats the difference? thanks.

the difference is that your tires, or maybe rims, are 2cm wider than the ones listed. Not really a big deal, unless you got cheated. though, not likely.

Yea, it's a little bit bigger tire. I have 25's on my bike -- they make me less nervous than the razor blades other folks cruise on. They spend a lot of time dodging the slightest debris, too.

whats the make and model you got and whats spec, if you got cheaper than spec take it up with the shop
