Now that takes GUTS. I don't see a speck of dirt. Have you
ever cooked in that kitchen? 😉 Very nice!

(laugh) You knew I'd get around to it once I got the

Now, are you gonna take pictures of the soup making next weekend? I
will be taking pics of mine...

Speaking of which, is it just you, me and Alan in this cookalong? Or
are we inviting anyone else that wants to join in?

Thank you, I'm quite late to get in on the thread where
everyone showed their kitchen. The camera is quite forgiving,
this is not a very clean kitchen.

I'd be happy if everyone played along. I can just hear the jeers
now (smile) ... you don't take pictures of garlic on a white plate!
Join in the fun, y'all. We're talking March 5th, right?

    Yes.

Maybe start another thread, so as to not completely hijack this one.

    Dear Nervous Nancy,

First of all, I like your kitchen very much. No clutter -- mine is a mess
ALL the time. Good to see there are some people who have a little decorum
    in their life.

But I have a question. I'm a registered user of webshots; but I have one
webshot picture on there and when I posted that picture sometime ago (I
don't know how I did it, tho), no one could see it.

When I asked the question a little earlier about the alternatives to
webshots, so far I have no answers, so I'm going to try to post my soup
photos on webshots. (I want to post several pics and I see you can do this
    by looking at your pics).

Do you know that if you put a link to your pics onto webshot that all
persons can view them when you give the url?

    Thanks,
    Dee Dee

It's a bit cumbersome, Dee Dee. If you post the url when you're signed in,
you're the "administrator" of the album so it's not the public view version,
hence no one can view it. You have to sign out, then go find the album/and
or photo as if you were just someone browsing through photos. Then post the
link. At least, that's the only way it works for me. From the main page,
don't sign in, click on Advance Search then scroll down to the bottom to
*Find a Member* and type in your user name. It will bring up the Results as
    a link to your albums.

Here is one picture that I sent to webshots that no one could view

    I do something slightly different.

Most of my albums are private, so no one looking for them can find
    them.

I send a link to myself, of the pictures/album in question, where it
says share your pictures. It will give you a place where you can
input the address of whoever you want to send the link. I input my
    own email.

Then I sign out of webshots. And open my email and get the link and
then open it. Then I post that link. At that point, anyone who
clicks on the link, can find the pictures.

Heh, that's okay, plenty of people around hate the cleaned
off counter look. Too bad, my old kitchen was so awful, when
I had it redone, I made sure I didn't have to look at any 'stuff' ...
that's just me. Hence the appliance garage.

I can look at the Japanese bells, but not the coffee maker, hah.

You'd think I'd be a good person to ask ... I pulled up the picture,
cut and pasted the url into tinyurl and that was it.

No, I wasn't sure about that, but that's okay with me. I think I
can make separate albums for unrelated pictures? Seriously not
sure, perhaps someone else can say.

Yep, you can create separate albums for different subject matter. You can
mark them as "private" or "public".
