here's my fixie...
its made out of my old racing frame from 1989/1990- a GIANT CADEX. it had vertical drop outs so i had to use an eccentric hub to tighten the chain... and, yes... it does have a brake. the bars where from a used tri set up the LBS had lying around...
the only thing really new to the bike was the seat post and saddle.
remember those ultegras?
hope you like it.

Like it? Its GOOOOORRRRRGGGEEEOOOOUUSSSS!!!! πVery nice. I've got to get myself some of those tri-bullhorns. They look great.
-
That's a really smart conversion. I like!

Tri bullhorns? How about cut and flipped road drops.

all right- ya got me. cutting and flipping IS more hard core than tri bars.

It's less about hard core and more about FREE.
Less is more
Its not the length of the toptube that counts its the wall thickness.π

Nice fixie. Got the cut and flipped. They do the job but I want that classic look so the tri-bullhorns are ordered. π -
when you get them installed- post some pics.
its always good to see fixie pics.

love ure tires mezz, they match the bike awesome. cant tell in the picture really, but the bike kinda seems to have a dark blue almost purple look and the tires look great. take all the stickers off and that thing would look stealth.

I don't think you'd ever get Mez to take his Cecil Walker stickers off!
:eek:π

i really dig chop and flops, but on a track bit with track geometry, standard track drops really help me in the steep hills. i gotta try a set of chop and flops though.
