It's a classic and figured everyone here had seen it before.
Did you have it saved somewhere? I don't have links to MFW threads. I
always felt the writing here was ephemeral despite the existance of all
the archives. I know I'm deluded.BTW, did you HAVE to start a thread about MFW being dead in recomp?
This is practically a weekly thread topic here, but it's so inane that
it really doesn't need to spread, IMO.Dally

was created. The stupid training log forums and the off-topic forums
are now the main draw, and most of the other stuff has been
over-extended, particularly the "Nerdshit" forum. There, too, I've
noticed a growing absence of people who really know what they're
talking about. -

But it is dead. I'm about to go out and rig up a "basket" for Buddy
to ride in on my ATV. After that, I plan on going back to rarely
posting again. I figured I'd beat the [censored] out of some of the idiots
who've wrecked MFW before I dropped back out. -

see that. -

back. Trolls come and go. To quote a comic strip today, this isn't a
genre, it's a medium.I went looking for yahoo groups. Nothing, absolutely nothing, had the
culture of usenet. MFW is a corner pub decorated with powerlifting
trophies, guns and dog pictures. There's a framed photo of Bush
decorated with a few American flags. Pimply-faced pumped up kids with
bulging shorts don't get hassled, but yuppies with bowflexes will leave
quickly. The pub isn't going to die just because you don't visit it for a while.

My favorite spotter is my mom. She spots those brown stains in the
rear, and yellow ones up front, then uses bleach on my undies. -

moustaches and devil horns on the photo of Bush. You also forgot to
mention a few bodybuilding photos and the whey and creatine behind the
bar.Quoted message said:

That's true. I consistently see lots of people come back to visit,
and some will stay for a while, depending on the environment. I think
that those who fled to web forums are already becoming disenchanted
with that environment. Time will tell. -

Such a friggin' loss that will be.

And I'll bet that "beat the [censored] out of some of the idiots" is a
eumphemism John Hanson likes to use for "have my hat handed to me and
be made to look like complete ass."Quoted message said:

Well, looks like you're missing that opportunity as you're spending so
much time interacting with me. Am I one of the /idiots who've wrecked
MFW/?As a relative newcomer (thanks for the encouragement, mica!) to MFW,
I'd say I have had no part in /wreck/ing this ng.Regardless, I agree that it's time you "dropped back out." Say, isn't
that something a loser would say?Yup.
