Well I was sort of dreading Thursday! It is the day where
I'm at school all day (from right before lunch to 8:30 PLUS
an hour and a half commute each way!). Since I have classes
during my normal meal times, what I used to do was grab a
six inch salami and provolone sub at a local deli, with some
veggies, oil and vinegar and salt and pepper, THEN with the
sandwich I'd have a bag of sour cream and onion chips, tsk
tsk! For supper, I'd grab some fast food. It was my most
sinful day of the week, but I used to think nothing of it, I
was often exhausted and all that mattered was that I wasn't
hungry during the day.
Yesterday, sticking with my "day of sin", I ate
breakfast at home:
Strawberry smoothie (3 pts) and an orange (1 pt)
For lunch: Six inch roast beef sub, no mayo or cheese,
loaded with veggies (6 pts) 1 bag of baked Doritos (3 pts)
For supper:
1 small cheeseburger from McDonalds (7 pts) 1 small french
fries (5 pts) 1 Diet coke (0 pts)
For a total of 25 pts. Still within my range, but looking
back, I am not happy with the choices I made. I drank a few
bottles of water yesterday but probably not enough, to make
matters worse. This is the beauty of Weight Watchers, it
encourages you to make SMART choices and think about your
eating habits. I always find when I begin WW, my choices
aren't so good, but eventually I refine them and start
cooking, delicious, nutritious meals. I have been eating
sensibly all week, and did find this to be a "treat"
yesterday, but I feel as though I can still feel like I'm
treating myself, but eat healthier meals. Looking back, I
should probably prepare my own lunch and take it on the
road. I KNOW that I can make myself a sandwich for far less
points than the Subway sandwich. Perhaps I should eat a
salad instead of the Doritos. I still need to think about
supper though. Any suggestions?
Thanks for all your help and support, Jolie
