Fantastic news. I used to rely on Metcheck's mountain forecasts, but have moved to MWIS since Metcheck started charging and the accuracy of their forecasts decreased IMO. Since I started using MWIS, I have been really impressed with the real world usefullness of the East/West forecast - something that will surely improve further with this more detailed approach. Keep up the good work!
Sorry - I should have been clearer - they changed the old system where you could look 4or 5 days (or more) in advance if you wanted to the current scenario where you can only see the next day. If you have the premium membership, you can see further in advance as before. For my purposes where I want to organise a (usually) Sunday walk for a group of people - it's not convenient to wait until Saturday to see what the weather is going to be like - so Metcheck ceased to be useful in it's free incarnation.
Could you do something about the [censored] winter though?
Agree. It was reported at the end of last year that we could expected severe weather, heavy snow, and this was for the south of the country. Snow fell for a day on 29 Dec in South Hants, stayed a few hours then ventured off down the drains!
My crampons and iceaxe are at short notice in the loft thought, awaiting a substantial dump of the white stuff in the Lakes. Please be kind Mr Snow machine above.

Please! I tried downloading the PDF onto a Treo600 in November, but it crashed the PDFreader.
